Dave Lindstrom started his pro football career as San Diego’s sixth round draft choice in 1977. After spending the entire season on injured reserve, the Chiefs picked him up on waivers for the 1978 season. His service to the Chiefs was invaluable to the cohesiveness of the defensive line. He played in 89 consecutive games for the Chiefs and started 30. In all, his career totals are 118 games, 30 starts 205 tackles, 13 sacks and 1 fumble recovery.

Dave spent his collegiate career at Boston University. In 1976, he was selected as the team’s most valuable player. In 1993, he was inducted to the Boston University Hall of Fame.

Today, Dave owns four Burger King franchises and is very active in the Kansas City community. He has served as president of the Kansas Chapter of Special Olympics and is a member of Leadership Kansas. He and his wife, Mary, have two daughters – Halee and Adrienne.
