Danan Hughes spent his college years at the University of Iowa. He was a third round pick for the Milwaukee Brewers and played with them from 1991-1992. Danan came to the Kansas City Chiefs when he was drafted in the 7th round in 1993. While with the Kansas City Chiefs, Danan was the special teams team captain for years.
Upon Danan’s retirement in 1999 from the Chiefs, he began working at Bank of America. After six months, he moved on to U. S. Bank. Currently he is in the Home Mortgage Division. He facilitates loans across the country and works with professional athletes, entertainers, and musicians. Danan’s group has continually been in the top five producers in U. S. Bank nationwide.
Danan’s professional football career provided a great platform for him off the field. Danan enjoys the public speaking opportunities that have come from his professional football background. At this time, Danan is involved in many activities which include his work as an NFL and High School baseball analyst for Metro Sports; coaches several of his children’s activities in which they participate; teaches Sunday School at his church; and participates on the Leadership Board of his church and his children’s school. Danan loves golf and plays as often as possible.
Danan, and his wife, Tiffani, have five awesome children, Jessicah, Joey, Taurin, Savana, and Talyn. They make their home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
