You thought tailgating at Arrowhead was fun. Try sponsoring the Ambassador's Tent for the Chiefs upcoming seasons. You will not only have the time of your life parting with your favorite Ambassadors, you will also get to bring your friends and preferred clients so they can enjoy the same experience as well!
At the tent you will get to meet the Ambassadors and maybe even get an autograph or two. They will even let you eat from the Ambassador Training Table. Nothing beats a good ole fashioned Bar-B-Q!
Your sponsorship may also include a visit to the field inside Arrowhead Stadium prior to that day's game. That's right! Up close and personal. Where players like Bobby Bell, Len Dawson and our beloved Derrick Thomas left their blood sweat and tears. If that isn't enough, how about an autographed football from the Kansas City Ambassadors and much, much more!

NFL Coach of the Week/Year Program
Aren't you glad to hear that we haven't forgotten the coaches who help them to get there? Well neither has the Ambassadors nor the Kansas City Chiefs or the National Football League. They are very proud to have the opportunity to honor fine Kansas City high school coaches for their contribution to our outstanding high school football player's lives and careers.
Once a week the Ambassadors and their sponsors honor a high school football coach with an award of recognition for his achievements for that week's game. At the end of the football season the Ambassadors give the Coach of the Year Award to the most deserving coach. They wish they could pick more than one but with the salary cap and everything it might be a little risky. Just kidding! They really make a big deal out of this occasion by holding a pep rally at the high school where the students get to show their appreciation as well. It almost brings tears to you eyes doesn't it? Please contact them immediately if you or your company would like to show your appreciation. They would love to have you!
Ambassador Appearance Requests
No, you are not dreaming. Your company can actually have one or more of our Kansas City Ambassadors help you to throw a benefit for a charity of you choice.
Here is how it can work. Your company plans an event or benefit, and then contacts the Ambassadors and asks to have them show up to assist you in the event. You know, sign autographs and such. They dress up real nice. They only ask that you make a financial contribution to their scholarship fund. Now that's not too much to ask, is it?
They will work out all of the details prior to the event. Not available for kids' birthday parties. Fees starting at $100 with all fees going to the scholarship fund.
Sports Auction and Golf Tournaments
They have two tournaments a year, one in Kansas City and one in Springfield, Missouri.
The Ambassadors have been active in the community for many years. In 1996 they decided to focus their attention in a more direct area by awarding scholarships to local high school seniors. The schools selected to participate were from the Kansas City Metropolitan area and the main focus was on students who achieved excellence both academically and athletically. The first year 2-$2000 scholarships were presented.
While the dynamics have remained the same, some changes were made. The list of schools increased to 78 which includes private and charter schools as well as public schools. Two students, one male and one female, are nominated by their schools. The requirements for nomination have changed to include all students, regardless if they participate in sports or not and focused more on the students with a financial need.
Each year the number of scholarships awarded has increased. For the past few years 12-$2000 scholarship recipients were selected. In 2004 a total of 21 scholarships were awarded. For 2005 our goal is 25-$2000 scholarships. A large portion of the money distributed through this program is raised through this golf tournament and auction.

Ambassador Scholarship Award
This program is probably the most popular one the Ambassadors support. Can you think of a better way to utilize your support dollars than to help KC families get their sons and daughters into a university or college somewhere in the United States? The only major requirements are, they have to be student athlete in the Kansas City area and they have, to apply for it.(limited availability) They even have a great Awards dinner for the recipients.
How do we raise money for this event, you ask? From the fees and donations received for the golf tournaments and the fishing trip along with proceeds from the sports auction. So in other words, you get to go golfing and fishing and have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia, and they get to send deserving kids to college. Talk about win, win.
